[Morning]
Woke up @ 9+ am. Mummy prepared some Mee Siam for breakfast. I was alone @ home as all of them had gone to church. Left home @ 11:45 am to meet Ling and go to Kit's place together.
[Kit's Place]
Went Kit's place for lunch. Jo's Mum did the cooking. The curry & the Ngoh Hiang was nice. Kit's secondary school friends from Nan Hua came over. I can still remember Yun Tian's name & Shang Hao's name. They brought their photos of their Belgium & France trip along.
[Collecting keys for new flat]
Took bus 74 home. Felt very hot when I reached home. It must be the fucking humidity. It felt better after I turned on the air-cond and fan. Went out for dinner. Was still deciding where to have dinner when Ah Pong called. He said that I can go over to collect the keys now. So that helped in the decision making process. Redhill Close for dinner we went. Ordered Carrot Cake for Mei & Ling. They wanted the 'Delicious' Carrot Cake but it was closed. Ordered some comparable alternatives instead. Went over to the flat. Ah Pong was already there with the empty house. Did a final inspection and he handed over the keys to me. Contractor Tan came over shortly. We have decided do the following renovations.
Change the 2 toilet bowls & basins
Change the 2 toilet doors
Change the window tint for 2 rooms
Install heater for 2 toilets
Paint all the walls
Change the lock
We were quoted $4020. Decided to go ahead. Mummy & Ling chose the colours. Also told him to find out the price of air-conditioning the entire flat. A Malay old lady & a Chinese old lady came by to look look see see. I think they stay next door. Contractor Tan locked the flat with his padlock and gave me a key to the place. With the flat settled, it's finally a load off my mind.
[Giving out more wedding cards]
Drove home & rested for a while. Rafia string for our toilet bowl came off. So Ling can't flush. Helped her to flush manually. Met Edwin @ Pasir Panjang Food Centre to pass him the invitation card. He went Sentosa with Siew Ling. He's been doing a lot of cycling. In fact he cycled to Sentosa while Siew Ling took a bus. Enquired about cycing from Penggarang to JB. It's no joke. 100+km. Suggested that he stop for a night @ Kota Tinggi. Helped to pay $1 for their $21 La Lak. Ling ate some of the La Lak. Dropped Siew Ling @ a bus stop where there's 61. Stopped by @ Tiong Bahru Plaza for Ling to buy Ice Milo on the way to meet Qi An @ Cineleisure. Qi An's POP is on 6 Jun. So he should be able to make it. Dropped Ling @ Home. Called Rasheed, Yong Boon & Xiao Pei. Yong Boon & Xiao Pei answered. Passed the card to Xiao Pei @ Orchard Emerald. She smelt of alcohol as she was @ Rouge. I then went up CTE to meet Yong Boon @ Sengkang. Went Yong Boon's place. Passed him the card and looked @ his place. His Dad is watching TV on the sofa preparing to go for his night shift. Left Yong Boon's place @ 1 am to end a remarkable day.
