So happy for Mei. She got A1 for Chinese. At least it is a load of everyone’s minds. Hopefully, it is some good news for the family too. So far, the camera has lived up to its expectations. The battery life is a little flat though. It required recharging after 1 day of use. Although yesterday was an extraordinary day of high usage. I purposely brought the instructions manual along so that I can make full use of the camera.

The movies are beginning to take up space on my PC. With the 640 (Fine) mode, it is about 17 MB/minute even with MP4 compression. Must either get more storage or be more selective on the movies to keep.

[0015] - Had a good talk with Kiat outside his home. He's very busy with filming now. It is expected to last for another 2 weeks. He was bitching about some of his colleagues on the set. Humphrey also came out to play. Kiat's sister is overseas again. Haven't been home for days.
[0115] - Finally found out how to change the photo and video quality on the T7. I just need to press the 'Thrash' button. It doubles up as a quality changer in 'shooting' mode.
[0645] - Alarm clock woke me up but I went back to sleep.
[0700] - Dreamt about going out with Daddy & Mummy. I can't pinpoint the place and what we did. But Daddy was grumbling about something. I somehow knew it was my last night with Daddy and I took the chance to be with him for the last time. I cried and woke up.
[0715] - Granny is still in bed. Had Maggi Assam Laksa for breakfast.
[0720] - There's a 20 page EPL special today. Read in newspapers about a state of Emergency being declared in Port Klang & Kuala Selangor.
[0750] - Got up on 970.
[0840] - Arrived in office.
[0905] - Just ran 2.4 km on the thread mill at Fitness First.
[0930] - Took photos of Fitness First Swimming Pool and also GE Building from One George Street.
[0945] - Song Jing finally found the error. Actually the algorithm for getUserAttrs() wasn’t efficient, so there was some hogging of resources. Song Jing promised to fix it.
[0955] - Filled up Form C of the mid-year appraisal in iHR.
[1000] - Yeo sent pictures of the Sony T5. Both of us prefer the design of my camera.
[1015] - Helped Yeow Khoon to upload the Lunch Talk Plans for 19 Aug.
[1020] - Created a quicklink to ESOS for Siu Ming.
[1045] - Mei messaged to say that she got A1 for Chinese.
[1115] - Gave Jega a call. Will meet him at King Albert Park tonight.
[1100] - Received some mass mall about a Webtrends Conference at Grand Hyatt next Wednesday. Asked Chris and Stephen if they are interested.
[1200] - Took some video with the T7 using 640 (Fine) mode. It is damn clear. But eats up a lot of memory space. 43 MB just for a 34-second clip. I compressed it to MP4 and it became 8 MB. Still manageable.
[1210] - Song Jing fixed the AACM. Now it works perfectly.
[1215] - Doing some back-up on the loud server next to me.
[1220] - Asked Chris to Tar Pau for me.
[1245] - Had Vegetarian Food for lunch.
[1300] - Played with the 2 cameras again. Xinhui took the back of Andy while Andy was shooting something with the T7. They seem to be playing some shoot-em-up game.
[1400] - Taught Dharmesh how to start and stop the SSOAdapter Server.
[1515] - Amilyn came to do an interview on me on usage of PDA in the company.
[1530] - Simon came by to look at the camera.
[1535] - Email from Deleon. He might not be able to attend the Team-Building Follow-Up meeting later due to a production fault.
[1540] - Val replied about the Nov trip. She only got 6 days of leave left. Prefers 1st week of Nov where there are 2 public holidays.
[1557] - Confirmed with Stephen & Tang Seng about DR plans. All I need to do is update the static html pages and upload it to the Apache server running within the DR site at Ayer Rajah Industrial Estate.
[1605] - Received a forwarded message from Eng Lee about adding a contact called ICE in your handphone. ICE stands for In Case of Emergency. Inside the contact, you can put the number of your next-of-kin. Paramedics know what ICE means.
[1730] - Bought Ya Kun Butter Toast and Ritz Biscuits as I was feeling hungry.
[1915] - Took 174 home.
[1930] - Dinner at home. Minced meat with egg.
[2015] - Walked to King Albert Park MacDonald’s to meet Jega to talk about the new project.

[2045] - The project consist of 2 parts. One is a business process xml generator. The other is a content management system. I need to perform integration between Laszlo and whatever webservices at the back end. I will be giving him a quote by Tuesday lunch time. It’s a project for Mindef.
[2145] - Walked with Ling to Bukit Timah Market. Ling ordered Hokkien Mee for dinner.
[2230] - Walked home.
[2245] - I used Dr Khong’s wireless network to access the web so that Ling can read my blog and the blogs of some of her friends.
