Had a busy day today. Spent the whole day trying to get Chinese Text from DB to display on StaffNet PoC. In the end. Solution was to get the bytes from recordset and encode it in GB2312 format. Along the way tried many things. Tang Seng and I even split the double-bytes down to the 1s and 0s to figure out what is going on. When I cycled home, the house phone was fixed. Had a good dinner of Tau Kua and minced meat. Yvonne pushed the KL trip to 24 Mar. That's even better! At least it will be a long weekend.
